Buddy Reading With Room 1 📖

Today after lunch Room 12 walked over to Room 1 to do buddy reading. We were waiting outside the class room for them to get ready and spread out so we can go with buddy up. Once they were ready there were to many Room 12 children than so two Room 12 people had to go with a Room 1 student. Tyra and I went with Zephania in the corner of the room. We read and asked him different questions until we had to leave.

Room 10s Sindicate Assembley

On Monday 21st of May Room 10 hosted their assembly in the Multipurpose after lunch. We all sang the first song Aotearoa by: Stan Walker. After the song we did a game called heads up, teachers against the children. What you have to do is hold a card that has a word on it to your head and your team hast to act it out. For the next song we sang Azonto by: ODG. After we did a dance-off with  all the rooms against each other.

Hip Hop Dancing

On the 15th of May, Room 12 went to the Multipurpose Room to do hip hop at 11:55. Once we got there we were waiting for Room 10 to complete their lessons. When they were finished we all went inside and sat down. The first thing we did was a warm up. We all started do groovy dance moves. I really enjoyed dancing and I can't wait till next Tuesday, it was a very fun experience.

Our Fitness For The Week🏃

It has been a few days after the holidays and everyone must seem a little slack on their fitness so all the seniors run around the senior block. When someone is going to slow down or walk for a while the must stay on the left so the fast runners overtake on right. We all run for about fifteen or ten minutes to get our stamina up from sitting around watching T.V and eating junk food in the holidays.

Commonwealth Cycling (Battle For The Gold)

Its the second day of the Commonwealth Games. New Zealand's opposing team was England, both teams battling for the Gold medal.

The three competitors from NZ and England were cycling around the oval shaped stadium. New Zealand Team finished first with the time of 42.877 seconds. With teamwork they gained possession of the gold medal.

Room 10s First Syndicate Assembly For 2018

On Monday 26th of February Room 10 hosted their first Syndicate Assembly for 2018. For their song the class selected This Is Me and Better When I'm Dancing. They did a senior dance battle with two people from all rooms.
The first classes were Room 10 verses Room 9. For that dance Room 10 won, then they danced against Room 12. Apparently they won their own syndicate dance battle,  then it was time to go back to class.

The Holidays Is Almost Here

It's Monday the fourth and we all have just need two more weeks until the holidays. Everyone looked normal, happy to be with their friends playing on the park, I guess everyone was happy that it was almost the holidays especially the teachers. Everyone's report will be going home and soon cultural groups will be starting and the speech finalists who have learned their speech off-by-heart will be performing in front of the entire school. I just can't wait until the holidays.
